MOVIE REVIEW :

Do you still remember your first memorable moment you when you meet the first person of your dreams? Sweet and endearing, the foremost emotions felt at such recollection. These are what his movie has successfully captured. Though of a small-scale production with unfamiliar cast, the story of the innocent, pure hearts at the tender age of nine unfolds by itself. This was done through the eye of its main lead, Yeo-min.

There he lives in a small mountain village. A sensible boy, whose maturity is beyond his nine-years old age, should have lived a carefree life. But he has far more responsibilities to fulfil daily. Life became even more interesting with the entry of a new schoolmate, who became his class partner and later, the girl of his dreams. Surprises are in for the audience, as the various characters surrounding the lives of Yeo-min have their own stories to be told. Sometimes, things are not what they appear to be. About his dream girl. What would he discover?

Regardless being in Korean TV serials or movies, the initiation into them always begins with child actors. But can a movie, with its only focus on child characters, pull off triumphantly? Yes, I bet on this. In this movie, the adorable child actors display not a bit of amateurish acting skills. They immediately hook the audience, who begins to be touched by their tears and happiness. We would laugh at their occasional bickers, which remind us how we used to be as silly as them at their age.

A movie suitable for all ages. Good choice for a family movie-watching session at home.

SPECIAL FEATURES :

The DVD would have been better if it has offered a behind-the-scenes or production segment however sad to say, this disc is a barebone.

AUDIO:

The disc comes equipped with only Korean Dolby digital 2.0.

VISUAL:

Although some speckles are spotted at certain points of the movie, fortunately it does not marred the enjoyment of the movie itself.
