pretty laidback, honest and occasionally sarcastically funny.
Take for instance, on the Rob Schneider’s comedy, “Hot
Chick”, Ebert says it is too vulgar for anyone under
thirteen and too dumb for anyone over thirteen. Oh and Ebert
seems to be more of a fan of Jackie Chan than Jet Li. While
he describes Chan's action in “Rush Hour 2” as
a combination of grace, ability and timing, he finds no point
in Jet Li leaping six feet in the air and rotates clockwise
while kicking three guys in “Romeo Must Die”.
are people out there who don’t trust critics’
opinions. And there are some who find them debatable over
a cup of latte. Whichever group you belong to; there’s
absolutely no harm in picking up Ebert’s book. Be entertained
by this Pulitzer Prize winner.

want to back a single one of last year's best picture nominees
and every studio in town wanted to get involved in this one?
To be sure, Fox, Disney and Warner Bros got left out. Too
