LEE SUN-KYUN (이선균) (1975 - 2023)

Parasite actor Lee Sun-kyun was found dead this morning in a car in one of Seoul's main parks. It is unclear if Lee took his own life but police said they received a report that he had left home after writing a suicide note. He was suspected of taking drugs such as marijuana, ketamine and had been under investigation for alleged drug use since October although so far he has tested negative.

The actor was married to actress Jeon Hye-jin and had two young sons with her. His career spanned more than two decades and starred as the lead in dozens of films and TV shows. He rose to international fame with Parasite, Oscar winner of Best Picture.
