[SPOILERS] Let's Talk about AVENGERS: ENDGAME ENCORE

Most of us have seen Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame (2019) probably more times than the average movie on a streaming platform, on TV or, for old-school fans, on Blu-ray.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame Encore is basically a re-release with updated colour grading and, of course, an additional four minutes of new footage. Whether you are catching it locally on IMAX or Dolby Atmos, here’s the breakdown of the new additional scenes.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

1. Loki paying Peggy Carter a visit during her long-promised dance with Captain America.

2. Things happening at the Time Variance Authority with Mobius and O.B being seen.

3. Hulk filming himself having a breakdown of sorts after the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day with probably Dr. Doom in the background.

4.  The reveal of Dr. Doom’s mask.

Well, of course, in the grand tradition of Marvel, none of the newly shot additional scenes make any sense as of now. Maybe they are going to be revealed or tied into the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday or maybe not at all.

Thus, it doesn’t really matter whether you catch the Encore version, unless you are a number-one Marvel fan. For now, it’s just another marketing gimmick from Disney.
