TRAILER WATCH - THE EQUALIZER II

Though envisioned as a modern-day update of the 1980s TV series, Antoine Fuqua's THE EQUALIZER became an action thriller in its own right with a blazing lead performance by Denzel Washington. Now Washington is back to reprise his role as Robert McCall, in what is significantly his very first sequel. 

In the first movie, he worked at a hardware store. Now he's driving a Lyft, kicking ass and taking names. In addition to laying waste to a bunch of creeps who have done a woman wrong, he is out to avenge the death of his former colleague and friend Susan Plummer (Melissa Leo).
