TRAILER WATCH - CRAZY RICH ASIANS (FIRST TRAILER)

This summer, the world will see Singapore on the big screen like it's never before - thanks to the film adaptation of Kevin Kwan's 2013 bestselling novel CRAZY RICH ASIANS.

Based on the first book in a trilogy centered on a U.S.-born Chinese economics professor and boyfriend, the movie stars Constance Wu as Rachel Chu, a native New Yorker as she accompanies her longtime boyfriend, Nick Young (Henry Golding), to his best friend’s wedding in Singapore to meet his family. She soon finds out Nick has omitted a few key details about his life — turns out his family is “crazy rich” and he’s also one of the country’s most sought-after bachelors. She also finds out his mother, played by Michelle Yeoh, is not her biggest fan.

“You really should have told me you’re like the Prince William of Asia,” says Chu (Wu). “That’s ridiculous,” replies Golding. “I’m much more of a Harry.”

Along with Wu, Michelle Yeoh, Henry Golding, Gemma Chan, and Ken Jeong also star.

Here's your first look at the movie coming soon from Warner Bros Pictures:
