Starring Simon Yam, Lee Kang-sheng, Kaiser Chuang and Shao Yu-Wei, a landlord inheriting a rental apartment from his relatives, spreads the "For Rent" notice on most of the public bulletin boards near Tunghai University. He has some focused groups of people as his target, not Mommy’s boy, not white-collar workers, not hardworking and honest couples, but only "NORMAL HUMAN BEING", normal human being with complicated senses and characteristic, which can gratify his desire of peeping the darkest aspects of every "normal" person. Therefore, in his apartment, he has gathered these tenants: Chang, a lusty gymnastics teacher with a criminal record of domestic violence, Boyan, a college student but staying in the room all day long as a website geek, Wang, a divorced father with his angel-like young daughter, a secret novel writer – Yingru, the gay couple, Lin Hu and Kuo Li, and Ms. Chen, a sexy office lady drowning in the endless forbidden love and affairs. All of these people move to this mysterious apartment in Tunghai apartments, then a story of combining incredibly perversion, breathless confusion and lusty chaos between the eight tenants and the landlord pours out in the six rooms of this unique apartment.

THE TENANTS DOWNSTAIRS is slated to open in Singapore cinemas on 13 October 2016.
