RESERVIST LOH! Singapore’s most popular army boys are back! Local million-dollar Director Jack Neo returns with the highly anticipated AH BOYS TO MEN sequel – AH BOYS TO MEN 4, which is releasing island-wide in cinemas on 9th November, to commemorate 50 years of National Service.
AH BOYS TO MEN 4 launches its movie teaser poster today, featuring all the familiar faces Singaporean audiences love, namely ‘SERGEANT ONG’ by Tosh Zhang, ‘KEN CHOW’ by Joshua Tan, ‘ALOYSIUS JIN’ or ‘WAYANG KING’ by Maxi Lim, and ‘LOBANG KING’ by Wang Weiliang. The new sequel introduces Hong Kong-based newcomer Apple Chan, who plays ‘Zhang Xinyi’, a lieutenant in the Armour Formation.
The fourth instalment tells the story of the ‘AH BOYS’ returning for their in-camp training. After completion of their full-time national service stints, they were all busy with their respective careers as civilians. When they are called back for in-camp training in an SAF Armour unit, they must juggle between work and their duties as operationally-ready national servicemen. Hilarious situations happen when they are back training together and their military roles reversed. New enemy threats arise as their brotherhood is put to the test. Filming was made possible with the kind support from the Ministry of Defence and the Singapore Army.
