With the merger between Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance approved, a single corporation will now own the eponymous studios, along with HBO, CNN, CBS, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network Studios, Adult Swim, New Line Cinema, MTV and DC Comics.
While there were at least eight major studios in the past, we are now basically left with maybe four major players following the merger. What was once the peak is now just the beginning.
Nevertheless, we hope it won’t be another case of 20th Century Studios and you all know what happened to it after Disney bought it over.
