KOREAN HEARTTHROB SIWON CHOI IN TOWN ON 5TH AUGUST

Korean heartthrob Siwon Choi, together with acclaimed Hong Kong Director Dante Lam, will be in Singapore on 5th August to promote their latest sports-action blockbuster TO THE FORE. Promotional events include a mall appearance at PS!

As part of Marina Bay Sands’ annual charity event, Sands for Singapore Charity Festival, up to 40 film students in Singapore will be invited to an exclusive Movie Magic Discussion with the director, Dante Lam and Siwon Choi, sharing with the invited guests their challenges in filming and producing such a technical movie that involves multiple destinations and casts of hundreds on a very physically demanding film. The Sands for Singapore Charity Festival 2015, the biggest-ever edition of this charity festival, will be held over 10 days from 31 July to 9 August and will intersect with the Golden Jubilee weekend. This 10-day celebration will be packed with fun-filled activities to raise funds for over 80 local charities.

With a production budget of approximately SGD $16 million, TO THE FORE is an intense sports drama set in the world of competitive cycling that focuses on the friendships of the professional cyclists. The blockbuster, directed by Dante Lam after the highly acclaimed UBEATABLES, was shot in several countries all over the world namely in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Inner Mongolia and Italy.

The Official movie theme song “Roll On” 《你·有没有过》, which premiered on radio stations Asia-wide on 20th July 2015, is sang by Singapore’s very own JJ Lin.

Korean heartthrob and leading actor Siwon Choi and renowned Hong Kong director Dante Lam will be in town on 5th August to promote their highly anticipated sports movie TO THE FORE, which will hit cinemas Asia-wide on 6th August!

Besides attending the movie press conference, both Siwon Choi and Director Dante Lam will also be participating in a series of events for the whirlwind promotional tour, whereby more details of activities will be announced soon.

With a production budget of approximately SGD$16 million, TO THE FORE is a sports movie set in the high-stakes world of competitive cycling and shot in numerous locations of Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Mongolia & Italy. The movie is directed by renowned Hong Kong director Dante Lam (UNBEATABLE, THE VIRAL FACTOR, etc) and starring some of the hottest stars in Asia including Eddie Peng (RISE OF THE LEGEND, UNBEATABLE, COLD WAR), Siwon Choi (DRAGON BLADE, HELIOS, etc), Shawn Dou (UNDER THE HAWTHORN TREE), Wang Luodan (RISE OF THE LEGEND), Carlos Chan, OuYang Na-Na (BEIJING LOVE STORY) and Andrew Lin (THE HEAVENLY KINGS) . 

TO THE FORE opens island-wide in Singapore on 6th August.
