BRUCE LEUNG SIU-LUNG (梁小龙) (1948 - 2026)
Legendary martial arts actor Bruce Leung Siu-lung (梁小龙), best known to international audiences as the villain in Stephen Chow’s Kung Fu Hustle, has sadly passed away at the age of 77 from heart failure in Shenzhen.
During his heyday, Leung starred in more than 50 martial arts films and became widely known for his portrayal of Chen Zhen in the television series The Legendary Fok and Fist of Fury. He briefly retired from the screen in the early 1990s, but made a memorable return in 2004 when he appeared in Stephen Chow’s classic Kung Fu Hustle.
Leung was proficient in several traditional martial arts disciplines, and fellow action star Sammo Hung has confirmed that he was a formidable fighter in real life as well.
