2) What is the classification of films system like in Singapore?
Film classification provides a wider choice for audiences while at the same
time protecting the young from unsuitable content. There are four classification
categories on home videos:
G (General)
Wholesome films suitable for everyone
PG (Parental Guidance)
These films are generally suitable for all. But the rating alerts parents that
they may wish to check the content of such films before watching with their
children or allowing them to view the film on their own.
NC16 (No Children under 16)
NC16 rated films are suitable only for those 16 and above as they deal with
fairly adult issues such as drug abuse which may be disturbing to younger children.
M18 (Mature 18)
M18 films are restricted to persons 18 years old and above. They may contain
mature themes but with treatment that is sensitive and appropriate to those
18 years and above.
Although all film ratings and advice are included where possible, classification
of films vary from country to country, please exercise your own caution when
purchasing titles from our eStore.
Please note Question 9 as well.

4) I just received a faulty disc, how should I return the disc to you?
If you have a faulty disc, please ensure that the following are adhere to:
- Our DVDs are formatted in PAL and encoded for Region 3 unless stated otherwise
on our website. You may notice that some discs have multiple zones ensuring
playability in other countries, providing your DVD player and television are
both PAL compatible.
- As there’s a region code applied at the authoring stage such that
the final disc will play only on those players distributed in the designated
world region. Please ensure your dvd player is encoded to play multi-region
codes titles.
- It could be due to discs that have been handled incorrectly (ie. fingerprints
or scratches on the read surface, discs forceably removed from their casing
causing cracks). It is most unusual for a disc to be faulty in any way when
manufactured. There are rare instances of faulty discs. It is therefore imperative
