NEW THEME SONG AND MV FOR The White Haired Witch Of Lunar Kingdom

A new The White Haired Witch Of Lunar Kingdom poster is revealed showing the two leads in an intimate moment. The full MV using the classic theme song 红颜白发 from the original “The Bride with White Hair” by Leslie Cheung is also released:

The White Haired Witch Of Lunar Kingdom 《白发魔女传之明月天国》 released the film’s theme song and MV today, April 1st, as a tribute to Leslie Cheung who passed away 11 years ago on the same date. The theme song is none other than the classic Red Face with White Hair 《红颜白发》performed by Leslie, which is also the theme for the 1993 movie The Bride With White Hair 《白发魔女传》starring Leslie himself and Brigitte Lin. The song also won Best Original Film Song at the 30th Golden Horse Awards.

The film decided to use the same theme song to recreate the memories of the 1993 classic. Only a 1 minute version of the MV is currently available, the full version will be released soon.
